I am a virtual assistant based in the UK. “A virtual assistant” I hear you say… ‘What’s that?”

A virtual assistant is a self-employed business owner who remotely supports other business owners with a number of tasks

Virtual Assistants are becoming a popular and in demand service for lots of people and businesses over the world! We are the key to your business being more productive, efficient and organised by helping you fulfil the tasks which take you away from the important (and fun) stuff of running your small business…..things you ENJOY doing!

My whole working life I have worked in roles which required me to have extensive administrative skills, being organised, driven by processes, the ability to prioritise my workload and problem solve!. For the past 18 years, I have been a deputy manager for a voluntary sector organisation who provided family support to vulnerable families. I assisted and supported the managing director and board of trustees with the day to day operational duties for our organisation. These responsibilities included:

• Recruiting, training and the management of staff
• Developing and maintaining processes and systems, including helping to develop our bespoke CRM database which became our case management system
• Data cleansed and provided statistical reports
• Completed monitoring/progress reports to our funders, commissioners and supporters
• Contributed to our social media and website design
• Day to day admin e.g. email/diary management, scheduling meetings, producing reports and presentations
• Taking the lead on our policies and quality assurance reviews

I am a lover of all things relating to processes…. in order to make companies more efficient, cost effective and organised, whilst still providing a quality service.
